Re-Construction

I’ve never felt more disconnected, dissociated, or disenfranchised from culture than I do right now. It’s like staring into a void where nothing feels familiar, nothing resonates. I realize it’s mostly self-inflicted. I walked away. So little of what passes for culture today appeals to me. But now, when I peer across that chasm, I don’t even recognize what’s out there.
